The heat wave is over!
For the shoreline, it ended Sunday after three days in the 90s. Windsor
Locks managed to rack up five 90 degree days. For the rest of the week the heat
will be taking a step back but the humidity remains. Afternoon showers and
storms will fire up Tuesday. A cold
front will cause downpours to become more numerous Wednesday and Thursday. Once the front clears the coast, less humid
air will temporarily return on Friday. Hit or miss storms are possible this
weekend too.
