Rain Continues But The Chill Ends To Start Off May

May is finally here and right on cue, a warm up arrives to start off the new month. Heavy rain is likely early Thursday morning with the chance for a few rumbles of thunder too.  Steady rain will taper to scattered showers with some partial clearing by afternoon. High temperatures will soar into the upper 60s to middle 70s. But the real warm stuff will not last. Temperatures will be closer to average Friday through the weekend with the chance for a shower or sprinkle in spots each day.
Tonight: Periods of rain, some heavy. Thunder possible too. Rising temperatures. 40s at midnight. 50-60 by daybreak tomorrow.

Tomorrow: Early rain and thunder tapering to scattered showers. Partial clearing, milder. High temperatures in the upper 60s to mid 70s.

Friday: A mix of sun and clouds, chance for an afternoon sprinkle or shower. High temperatures in the middle to upper 60s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy, chance for a sprinkle or shower in spots. High temperatures in the lower to middle 60s.

Sunday: A mix of sun and clouds, chance for a shower or thunderstorm in spots in the afternoon. High temperatures in the lower to middle 60s.

Monday: Becoming mostly sunny. High temperatures in the lower 60s.
