Some clearing is expected tonight with temperatures dropping
into the 20s with a gusty northwest wind.
That wind will send wind chills into the 10s/20s Tuesday morning, 30s by
afternoon. Sunshine will mix with afternoon clouds. The lake effect snow machine will be turned
on tomorrow. With a gusty wind, there’s
a chance a flurry or snow shower could get carried into Connecticut (especially
NW).
More sunshine is expected on Wednesday but temperatures will
not respond. Once again, we’ll get stuck in the 40s. But this is only a quick
cool down. 50s return by Thursday with mostly sunny skies. Clouds will thicken
up Friday. We’re watching a coastal storm for later this week. Rain and gusty winds are possible late day if
this storm hits. But there’s also a chance the storm slides harmlessly out to
sea.
