Summa Summa Summertime

The sun angle is highest around the summer solstice and that means a higher UV index. Around noon this weekend, those with fair skin can get a sun burn in 15 minutes. Warmth and humidity will gradually build Saturday and Sunday. If your plans involve boating or hitting the beach, the water will remain calm with waves one foot or less. An isolated shower or storm is possible over the next several days but most towns will stay dry. Heat and humidity peak next week along with a better chance for storms.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low: 55-60

Saturday: Hazy, warm and turning a bit humid. Low to mid 80s inland, Near 80 degrees along the shoreline.

Sunday: Hazy, hot and humid. Upper 80s inland, low to mid 80s for the shore. Chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm.

Monday: Hazy, hot and humid. Upper 80s to low 90s inland, Mid 80s along the shoreline. Chance for an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm.

Tuesday: Hazy, hot and humid. Upper 80s to low 90s inland, Mid 80s along the shoreline. Chance for an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm.

Wednesday: Hazy, hot and humid. Upper 80s to low 90s inland, Mid 80s along the shoreline. Scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon.
