On Monday Windsor Locks tied the record high temperature of
90 degrees, last set in 2004. That’s the warmest temperature since September of
last year. But our taste of early summer warmth is officially over. A backdoor cold front will pass through New
England early Tuesday bringing a cooler easterly wind. The next couple of days
will be mostly cloudy with the chance for a shower or two. Temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday will stay
in the 60s. Thursday will turn briefly warmer and more humid.
Tonight: Increasing clouds. Low: 50s.
Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy, some sun. Chance for a shower in
spots. Not as warm as recent days with high temperatures in the 60s.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, some sun. Chance for a shower in
spots. High temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
Thursday: Partly cloudy, warmer and more humid. High
temperatures in the middle to upper 70s. Chance for a late day shower or
thunderstorm.
Friday: Cloudy with scattered showers. Heavier downpours
developing late or at night. High temperatures in the 60s to around 70 degrees.
Saturday: Chance for a lingering shower early. Otherwise,
partly cloudy. High temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
