The steady rain is moving out tonight after a decent soaking this afternoon. The rest of tonight looks mild with temperatures staying near the 60 degree mark with scattered showers and patchy fog.
Early clouds, fog and sprinkles will start off the day tomorrow. But clouds will break for some sun allowing temperatures to soar up through the 70s! But we’re not done with the rain yet. Tomorrow afternoon a cold front will trigger a few additional showers and thunderstorms, some of which could be strong. Heavy rain and lightning is possible in a few isolated cases. The Storm Prediction Center has placed central and western Connecticut in the “slight risk” category for severe weather. I’m not overly concerned, but it’s something to keep an eye on. Although the air will feel a little muggy tomorrow, the cold front will help wash the moisture out of the air. Thursday is sunny and less humid. Fantastic dry and mild weather lasts into next week!
