First of all, sorry I have been M.I.A lately. I didn't mean to neglect you. I have been going through some personal stuff AND on top of all that I just competed in the Tough Mudder! I've been tired to say the least. You can watch my experience here.
Now onto the weather.
We put a huge dent in the rainfall deficit after an exceptionally dry start to the year! Bradley International Airport is running -3.99" for the year. Bridgeport is -4.25" below average for the year. Compare that to my blog post from April 18th! Raindrops have been recorded nine out of the first thirteen days this month! The next three days look wet too. An approaching cold front will bring clouds and a few showers Monday. Although most of the day will be dry, you will need an umbrella at times. Temperatures will top out in the 60s to low 70s.
The front officially comes through on Tuesday with periods of rain, some heavy. Once again with a southerly wind, temperatures will manage to climb into the mid 60s to near 70 degrees. Wednesday starts wet and ends dry with partial clearing in the afternoon and temps spiking in the 70s.
The rest of the week looks dry but we’re still trying to get a handle on temperatures. Some models keep us soaring into the 70s and 80s while others keep us locked in the 60s to near 70. Either way it looks like a much nicer end to the week!
