Part of the same winter storm that wreaked havoc on the Deep
South and Mid Atlantic states will graze Connecticut early Wednesday morning. Light snow in parts of the state will end by
before 8 am Wednesday. The rest of the
day looks better with clouds breaking for sunshine. Temperatures will slowly moderate this week with
highs in the 20s Wednesday, near 30 degrees by Thursday and upper 30s on Friday. The warm up peaks just in time for the
weekend with high temperatures around 40 degrees.
Tonight: Light snow developing after midnight. A coating of
snow southeast of Hartford with higher amounts, up to an inch or two in New
London County. Low: 5-15.
Tomorrow: Light snow in spots before 8 am. Becoming mostly
sunny. Not quite as cold. High temperatures in the middle 20s.
Thursday: Bright sunshine. Not as cold as recent days. High
temperatures around 30 degrees. Evening clouds.
Friday: Sun and clouds, chance for a snow shower in spots in
the afternoon. High temperatures in the middle to upper 30s.
Saturday: Increasing clouds. Milder. High temperatures
around 40 degrees. Chance for late shower/mix.
Sunday: Early shower/mix. Otherwise, mostly cloudy and mild.
High temperature around 40 degrees.
