40s This Weekend. Cooler, Active Next Week.

Other than a brief shower or flurry, this weekend will be mainly dry and milder! The weather pattern will turn more active starting next week.  While we’re leaving the forecast dry on Monday, we need to watch storm development to our south.  If the storm moves closer, we could get brushed with some light snow. Tuesday night into Wednesday looks like a mixed bag with accumulating snow to start then a wintry mix changing to rain. The exact track will determine precipitation type and accumulations. There has been a lot of hype surrounding this storm. An amateur meteorologist labeled it the storm of the century with 40”+ of snow.  That’s just ridiculous.  Are we looking at the same storm here? Don’t buy into the hype!

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low: 20s.

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy. Chance for a flurry or a sprinkle. But most towns will stay dry. Mild. High temperatures in the lower 40s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, warm. High temperature in the middle to upper 40s. Chance for a shower in spots.

Monday: Colder despite plenty of sunshine. High temperatures in the lower 30s. Watching a storm to the south. If it moves north we could get brushed with light snow.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, increasing clouds late in the day and at night. High temperatures in the middle 30s. Snow developing at night.

Wednesday: Overnight snow changing to a wintry mix and then rain. High temperatures in the middle to upper 30s.
