I’m not expecting any weather related travel issues for the
morning commute on Tuesday. The morning
will turn out dry, breezy and cool.
Light snow will begin to move in during the afternoon with some slippery
spots by the evening commute. The heaviest snow arrives Tuesday night with winds
gusting up to 30 miles an hour. Most of the state can expect 4”-8” of snow.
Some higher amounts are possible in far southern/southeastern Connecticut. Snow
ends early Wednesday followed by some clearing. School delays are likely. Some
schools may choose to close for the day.
Thursday and Friday are cold but dry with the chance for
snow showers for the start of the weekend.
Looking at temperatures in the long range, winter cold reigns supreme!
Tonight: Snow squalls early, partly cloudy, cold. Low: 10-15.
Tomorrow: Cloudy, breezy and cool with light snow developing
in the afternoon. Snow becoming heavy at times at night. High temperatures
around 20 degrees.
Wednesday: Snow ending early. Then some clearing. Breezy.
High temperatures in the teens.
Thursday: Cold despite plenty of sunshine. High temperatures
in the middle to upper teens.
Friday: Sunshine mixing in with a few clouds during the
afternoon. High temperatures in the upper teens.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers. Not as
cold. High temperatures in the upper 20s.
