The weather looks spectacular looking ahead to the UCONN
Huskies victory parade. At 4PM on Sunday
it will be partly cloudy and dare I say, warm.
Temperatures will slowly rise through the rest of the week. A pesky stalled front will keep us on the
edge of the truly mild air on Friday and Saturday. That front will also keep us in the line of
fire for a few showers. By Sunday and Monday, the front washes out and inland areas
could see the first 70+ degree days of the season. It’s about time! The average date of the first
70 degree day is March 30 in the Greater Hartford area.
Tonight: Clear. Chilly. Low: 28-33.
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny, breezy. Southwest wind at 10-25 mph.
High temperatures in the low 60s inland. Cooler along the shoreline, low to mid
50s.
Friday: Early morning showers. Even with mostly cloudy
skies, temperatures still manage to climb into the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Another round of showers at night.
Saturday: Chance for a lingering morning shower. Otherwise,
a mixture of sun and clouds. High temperatures in the lower to middle 60s.
Sunday: Partly cloudy, breezy and warm! High temperatures
climb into the middle and upper 60s.
Monday: Partly cloudy and mild. High temperatures
approaching 70 degrees inland, middle 60s for the shoreline.
