Spring is in full swing with temperatures around or above
average this week. Wednesday morning clouds will break for some sunshine with highs
in the lower 60s for most of the state. With a breeze blowing off the water by
afternoon, the shore will remain a few degrees cooler. I can’t rule out a shower or sprinkle in
southern Connecticut late Thursday. But most of the state will stay dry as a
storm passes harmlessly south of New England. Rain is more likely Friday night
into Saturday morning.
Tonight: Variably cloudy. Low: 30s.
Tomorrow: Clouds break for some sun, mild. High temperatures
in the mid to upper 50s for the shoreline, Near 60 degrees inland.
Thursday: Partly cloudy, chance for a shower in spots late
day. High temperatures in the upper 50s.
Friday: Mostly cloudy. High temperatures in the lower to
middle 50s. Chance for rain late in the day with heavier downpours overnight.
Saturday: Early rain and clouds break for sunshine. Milder.
High temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, a bit cooler. High temperatures in the
middle and upper 50s.
