You might want to take down the outdoor Halloween decorations
Friday morning. Otherwise we’ll see a
lot of fake cobwebs and foam tombstones blowing around. Winds could gust 35 to 50 miles an hour in
the morning as a cold front barrels though.
I also think a lot of the gorgeous fall foliage will take a hit. Ahead
of the front it’s warm with high temperatures in the low 70s. Showers and areas
of heavy rain will last through midday, followed by some clearing in the
afternoon. Watch for slippery roads with wet leaves scattered about. While
Saturday remains somewhat mild, cold and blustery conditions return Sunday.
Tonight: Showers, mild, patchy fog. Temperatures holding
steady or even rising through the 60s.
Tomorrow: Morning showers and areas of heavy rain through
midday, followed by some clearing. Windy and warm. Gusts 35 to 50 miles an
hour. A Wind Advisory is in effect from 6 am – 6 pm. High temperatures in the
low 70s.
Saturday: Partly cloudy for central and western Connecticut,
mostly cloudy in southeastern Connecticut.
Slight chance for a shower. High:
Low to mid 60s.
Sunday: Partly to mostly sunny, blustery and colder. High
temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Monday: Another chilly day but not as windy. High
temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, a bit milder than recent days. High
temperatures in the low to mid 50s.
