Thursday's forecast is looking cooler and wetter. While a slow moving storm moves up the east coast, a strong elongated high pressure ridge will fight back and try to hold its ground. The interaction between the two weather systems leaves a lot of uncertainty regarding how much rain we could see on Thursday. Either way, it looks like southern Connecticut could get the jackpot. And any rain that falls will be beneficial! Over the last 2 months, Connecticut has accumulated a 3 to 6" rainfall deficit!
Tonight: Not as cold. Low: 45-50 inland. 50-53 for the shoreline.
Tomorrow: Sunny start, increasing afternoon clouds. Low 70s
Thursday: Showers or a period of heavier rain. Cloudy and cool. Low to mid 60s.
Friday: Clouds break for some sunshine. Low to mid 70s.
Saturday & Sunday: Sunny. Upper 70s & low 80s.
