Improvement Friday, Spectacular Weekend

A Minot To Moderate Short-term Drought For Most of Connecticut
The storm bringing the cloudy, damp, dreary conditions will slowly pull out to sea tonight, passing southeast of Nantucket. Occasional rain and drizzle will continue through tonight with temperatures dropping into the lower to middle 50s.

You already made it through the worst day of the week! It’s smooth sailing from here.  Any lingering early morning clouds will break for sunshine on Friday with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.  This weekend will feel like a trip back to late summer with abundant sunshine and highs in the low 80s.

There is no good soaking in the forecast looking ahead to the middle of next week.  That’s not great news for your lawn or garden. The US Drought monitor has declared most of the state in a minor to moderate drought.

Tonight: Occasional rain and drizzle. Low: 50-55.

Tomorrow: Early clouds break for sunshine. High temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.

Saturday: Sunny and warm! High temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Sunday: Another winner! Sunny and warm. High temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Monday: Sunshine mixing with high clouds. High temperatures in the middle to upper 70s.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, chance for a passing shower or sprinkle. High temperatures in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.
