Sleet!

It's sleeting now!  That's because we have a small layer of the atmosphere above freezing between 750 and 880 mb and a subfreezing layer between 880 mb and 980 mb.  This allows any snow that falls to melt and then re freeze forming sleet pellets!

    Anyone have a Pellet stove -- free fuel... oops. Inside joke (sold them years back).
