The NAO is going negative. This is fabulous news for lovers of cold and snow (bad news for everyone else). Yes, the threat for weekend snow is very real. How much? Way too soon to tell. It's Tuesday and so much can (and will) change. We also need to keep an eye on the beginning of March. Interesting (snowy) things can happen with a sharply negative NAO.
